All these similar MB parts sites in the US....

So I'm curious, is there anything I need to be aware of ordering MB parts from these sites that all appear to be identical in format in the US with similar web addresses?

I'm hunting for 4 new struts for my W218 (CLS550) and I'm in Canada and parts are ridiculous up here. Searching online for parts in the US reveals several sites that all look similar (mbparts.com, mbonlineparts.com etc etc) and prices do vary between them.

Do I just go with the cheapest or do these sites vary in any way?

Thanks

Different prices

Most MB mail-order sites sell their parts using the same basic program, but their prices vary. I have found that all sites offer decent discounts, some consistently more than others. Usually quick delivery and on one occasion I needed to return a part, which was no problem.Discounts are usually in the 30% - 40% range.

Which sites specifically do you recommend then for better discounts?

It would be greatly appreciated if you could share your short list of online parts dealers you use.

For any part for any car I need I always just google search it to see which come up and check prices I do not have regulars as it is for OEM dealership part sales.

I find their pricing for some are parts are cheaper than others and no rhyme or reason hence one day they are cheap for something and the net not so much as a different dealer is cheaper.

I like doing a whois database search on sites before giving them my CC info. mbofcovington dot com is owned by mb of covington. mbusa dot com is the official MB site. And mbonlineparts dot com is run by RevolutionParts which is owned by Agresta Acquisitions headquarted in Englewood NJ, tel# (201) 399-6888
Robert Anthony Agresta is a lawyer and private investor. He is the principal of The Agresta Firm, PC a New York metropolitan area law firm and Agresta Acquisitions, LLC a private investment company.
But I haven't actually ordered any MB parts online yet so that's just a general comment on my personal web surfing habits.
