On my way to the fitness center I passed by an exotic car dealer that looks more like a honda repair shop. To my surprise i saw a CLK-GTR, i tried to ask the guy questions about it but he was reluctant to tell me, only saying that the car is for sale to "special customers". HK has a first registration tax that puts about 40% extra on the price tag, so maybe 1.4 million USD?. PLus HK has a law stating that any left hand drive car cannot be driven permanently in HK. these pics are from the dealers website.

Very nice car and it turns heads. Did you take pics of interior?

so if you can't drive it permanently in HK, what is the owner of this car supposed to do.. buy it and export it somewhere else??
It turns out there are 2 CLK-GTR's for sale!! I guess they are for export to China since its LHD there. I know a LHD car can be driven for 1 year max in HK, but there are no streets straight enough to really drive it anyway. Only for the rich.

It is not hard to find, it is near the wong nai chung market with all the live chicken fish. The people are okay, im sure they are more friendly than american ferrari or lamborghini salesmen. The place in Kwun tong, is it called italianmotors? i only know 3 places in HK that specialize in highline exotics, italian motors, kingsway cars, car city.

Thanks!! but just wondering....i live in Saigon, Concerto Villa(dai kum wan). Is it very very far from where i live?
or is it easier to travel from my other house in Cheung Kwan O? I live at Maritime Bay(hoi yat ho yeun) there. which side is it easier to get to?
and i see that there are tram stations and bus stations, unfortunately i don't know how to take either the Tram or the Bus, i just learned the MTR and KCR last year! how's the taxi fare from the nearest MTR/KCR station? and what is the closest MTR or KCR station?
i have no idea what the place is called with all the lambo's and ferrari's....but they sure were damn snobby. when i went in with my friend and "touched" the Yellow Ferrari, the salesman instantly popped out of his chair telling me "hey, don't make any finger prints on the car"
hope i find car city...i'd love to make some finger prints on it

Tezta,
I happened to see the same car back in December at the same place. They said they were selling it for 12,000,000 HKD. I took a picture with that car (I forgot to bring my camera that day, so the people there took one for me), but they didn't send me back the picture
(my friend was gonna get a car there but eventually he didn't, I guess that's why they didn't send me the pic). I wanted to post that on this board but I never get the pic

Juke-box, im not sure where you live in comparison to Car city, Im guessing you live somewhere on the Kowloon side? I guess if you can take the MTR to Wan Chai, and catch a taxi going east, (like it matters on HK roads) just tell him happy valley, yuk sau gai near the wong nai chung market. Other than that im not sure, i don't really know the tram or buses in that area.
Sorlo,
I havent been back since about December also. 15 mill. HKD sounds about right for that car, but can you believe it? HK has a car like that for sale. I have seen brand new lambo diablos for sale for months, one used one even dropped abut $22,000 USD in price before someone bought it. Its too hard to drive here. I wanted to take a pic with the car too but they were covering it up when i was there. I just stood there for and hour looking at the car, they thought i was nuts.:p

Definitely go there, tons of nice car over there. There was a SL60 when I went there last time (wonder if it's still there), Diablo VT, and more. My friend test drove the RS4 there as well. Let us know about your trip there.Originally posted by Juke-box
