Recently purchased CPO vehicle with major issues. What are my options?
Now, when I rent a car... well, let's just say that I like to... ahem... test it out.

Yes, the dealers are supposed to follow a stringent inspection process for CPO purposes, but let's face it, it only takes one unscrupulous tech or manager to look the other way.
Last Thursday I purchased a 24 CLE CPO from a MB Dealer 4 hours from home.
This Thursday the car went into the shop for serious lurching hesitation bucking acceleration and stalling issues. The car loses power. No dash warning lights whatsoever. It’s totally unsafe and not drivable.
Friday morning the car was serviced “ready” for pick up.
Service allegedly did a “Transmission Adaptation”. I drove the vehicle 2 lights from the dealer and broke down. The car is obviously back in service and as of now they have no clue as to what the issue is. I believe it’s major.
Would anyone from experience or legally know if I have any rights or recourse other than the Warranty/CPO? I would like to return the vehicle. I also traded in a vehicle. I reside in Florida. I have contacted the purchasing Mercedes dealership and have been given apologies but that’s all being told it’s warrantied. I have opened a case with Mercedes USA Customer Service.
Thank you in advance.
Update:
My CLE was returned from service today. This whole disaster as per MB was caused by an electrical issue specifically various ground/power connections/lugs had excess paint on them from the factory and started to cause poor electrical connections. This is a new one to me. Hopefully this is actually the cause. Will drive the car extensively this week to make certain the issues are in fact resolved. Thank you for all your kind comments and advice.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I had numerous questions on the issue that could NOT be answered. The Germans do make excellent beer so very possible. Or Schnaps!! So many unanswered questions on these vehicles.

Over 12 Fault Codes. Horrible
I'm cautiously optimistic that your car is fixed, but I really do hope that it is
