Considering a GL450 Premier Edition
I am considering a GL450 Premier Edition SUV to replace a 2000 Chrysler Town & Country AWD minivan (which have served well for its porpuse with 4 small kids). The SUV would be for my wife.
The dealer told me they are making 750 of these only and each dealer gets only one!
I test drove a "regular" GL450 and was impressed (better than my 1998 Range Rover HSE). Smooth, fast accerelation, quite, excellent visibility etc.
Due to the PE limited production, I put a deposit on it. Would not come to the dealer for another week or two.
Any words of wisdom before the plunge?
I considered the Escalade but it IS bulky looking and not refined enough for a lady. I like the saftey features in the GL450 too.

The next question is if I should lease it (with option to buy) or just buy it. It is a new model and I am afraid may be troublesome (had this experience in my 1995 Range Rover - was the first new design in 25 years!)

P.S Your four kids will not have to sit next to each other with the 2 2 2 seats. It worked well with my four.
