New OBlack GL to be built Monday!!!
Dealer called today to confirm that my new OBlack GL will be built on Monday. Since I'm in S.C. I should get it within the next couple of weeks hopefully. He even emailed a copy of the MSRP sticker (ouch).

From the date you ordered your GL450 to getting the Build date, how long did you have to wait???
My dealer only told me my build date wouldnt be any earlier than July 1st, and even then he wouldnt or couldnt give me a build date... is this normal?? The late build date I believe is due to the rearview camera option.

I see now you did not order the PE my bad. Good to us PE buyers that MB isn't allowing the PE running boards out for the standard GL. And I don't mean that to be a smartass your GL sounds like a sweet one but the appeal of the PE to me is not everyone will have one.

No offense taken. There were certain things that I just "had to have" so I ordered the standard GL, plus I wasn't really feeling the wood grain in the PE. But I do luv the running boards.
I want to add the chrome door handle inserts at some point as well.
