Jack,
I see that your steering wheel is all leather. I was under the impression that the GL550 came standard with the wood/leather wheel. Does that mean that your steering wheel is heated?

You can get heating package in 550 which includes heated rear seats and heated steering wheel. Wood steering cannot be heated and so in 550s with heating package, you get "upgraded" to all leather wheel.

The leather wheel is optional (no cost) and since I bought the car in Denver, they order their cars with the heated leather wheel. The order was locked when I made the deal. I would have preferred the wood/leather but the leather is nice for a change.

Looks like an AMG to me....
Forgot to check this morning while at the local MB for service about the AMG Badge. Will have to wait until after I return from my trip in November.
