NJ, I guess I haven't been keeping up with this picture thread for a few weeks. I just browsed through it and noticed your new wheel caps. They look great. I'm still pleased with mine as well. BTW, off the subject, I know you prefer the running boards over the side step bars (they both look great), but overall, I like the s/s bars a little more. Any idea who has a pic or website I can look at of a black vehicle with them before I decide to buy them? Thanks.

I have seen some shots of the s/s bars on one or two GL's on this forum but I don't remember seeing a black one. Whether they will reflect like the PE boards do I don't know. I find the boards very good for entry and a little bothersome when getting out since they extend from the body and I have to kind of slide over them to "land"...:-) But I would get them again for sure.

Jack,
How do you get away with all the picture taking out on the road? Do folks stop and look at you funny, like "What the heck is that guy doing taking a picture of his car?" I mean, the shots are so nice they have to be taking you some considerable time to set up and shoot.
Just curious.

Of course, they were a bit confused when they saw him snapping shots of the JW Marriott recently.

I have a small sign I set up. It says: "Genius At Work - Do Not Disturb"
Most of my shots are handheld and only take a short time to capture what I want. On this one I had to wave one car around me...his expression was one of

The window tint is Pinnacle Medium...made specifically to eliminate problems with electronic gear like cell phones and GPS etc. That is really not a problem with the GL since the antenna is external unless you are using a BT connection.

I love the hitch cover. My hubby is retired Navy. May I ask where you got it? I don't have a hitch on the GL, but his F150 has a hitch and we don't have a cover for it.

Something just doesn't compute here.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are never meeting Amy in person.
