2008 GL450 / 1999 ML320
First Photos 2008 GL450 - Calgary Alberta
Managed to find time to shoot a few photos of our new 2008 GL450. (Obsidian Black with black leather and loaded with every option that we could order).
Includes: Off-Road package, Distronic, Keyless-Go, Linguatronic, Rear Entertainment, etc, etc, etc. It is a VERY VERY nice ride. Extremely impressed, so far.

Thanks. The chrome roof rails can be installed so I understand. Someone on the forum had it done. I don't think it is cheap to do and from what I remember is a difficult install, so a lot of labor charges.

Jack, great shots! You've got me drooling! I just found out yesterday that the two GL550s that we ordered in the same day have a build date of Oct 10 and Nov 5. So all I can do now is live vicariously through photos. Still haven't seen one of these beasts in person.

If I don't get at least one GL in time, I drive a 1972 AMC Gremlin. That should fit right in with your GLs.

They couldn't tell me which one was being built first. Mine is silver, Dodson's is black with the DVD entertainment package (he has young kids). If the first one is being built on Oct. 10, it's going to be real close to get delivery in time for the Oct. 26 event in Vegas. Either way, we won't have both GLs as I had hoped.
If I don't get at least one GL in time, I drive a 1972 AMC Gremlin. That should fit right in with your GLs.
