Rear Seat DVD

Wireless? Are we talking about the rear seat entertainment system that has the two screens behind the headrests or the other one that has a single screen that flips up from the center console? I believe my PE has wired headphones. I did not get wireless ones with the car.
FWIW, I have actually had 4 different cars (other makes) with wireless headphones and have not ever had any static issues with them.
I actually prefer the wired ones because you can go and get high quality replacement earbuds anywhere. The wireless ones in my other cars work well but they are bulky and fall apart.

That's really wierd. I will have to ask my dealership about that tomorrow. I got factory MB wired headphones (pretty nice ones too if you ask me) and I do not see a wireless transmitter anywhere for wireless headphones. If it does take wireless ones, I will try my wireless headphones from another vehicle. They are all pretty much universal these days.
What did you other PE guys get?

Now that makes perfect sense! They are aftermarket for sure. In that case, the static issue is one that I would take up with the dealership because it's not normal. Since they installed it, they should warrant it. I have had 4 wireless headset DVD players in my cars and none of them had static issues but they were all factory installed systems.
