Maybe I am reading your signature wrong, but I do not see that you own one. What is your basis for taking issue with it? We have been driving ours for a few months now and have really enjoyed it. Did you own one and sell it?

Congrats Merc, I liked GL more than Q7 & its my favorite too, but its bigger brother the mighty G-wagon is my most favorite one..

Well it isn't MT's job to gauge reliability. Turn to Consumer Reports or JD Powers for that. For what car mags look at they're a good source most of the time.

Let the numbers speak......I believe if you own one and drive it around for a few days or so (which is what the car mags. do) you would understand alot better. "Don't judge a book by its cover"
