GL Barlo Red & Macadamia Combo
Enclosed are the pictures requested from an earlier post asking to see the color combo. This has been a great vehicle, I just brought it in for service for an initial break in oil change ( habit ) at 3500 miles and had nothing else for them to do. Great vehicle. Its good to see quality come back to Mercedes. I was so disgusted with their ( Mercedes) lack of quality over the past few years ( CL500 2004 ) that I was giving up on Mercedes and tried to purchase an Audi Q7 . The Audi dealer did not have the combo I wanted but Mercedes did which is why I got the GL. Am very glad I got the GL

I do have a question for you...the chrome around the fog lights...is that part of a specific package? or dealer installed accessory? I have noticed the chrome on a couple of GL's on the dealer lot, but I can't find it listed anywhere under the options or as part of a package.

Answers to questions on trim plate
1 ) I belive the detail plate you are refering to is part of the Xenon lighting package. It also includes a method that the headlights move when turning although it is hard to see any improvement from conventional.
2) the plate is a mass , commercial plate

Love the red color. It might have just gone to the top of my list.
How does it look when dusty/dirty? One of the benefits of iridium silver is that it doesn't show the dirt. Even my magma red SLK hides the dirt pretty well. What about Barlo Red?
