Build date.....hey Nevada?
I suspect it could be due to this Service Campaign dated April 27th...this applies to all 320CDI's including the E. Being an environmental problem it may need to be fixed quickly and not wait for dealers to do it.

Replace Engine Oil Filler Neck Seal (OM642 Engine) To prevent spills when refilling
No new news for me today. I had spoken with my SR last week and he had indicated that the owner of the dealership was going to call the factory to determine what the delay is and where my vehicle stands in the process...
I spoke with the SR again today. He had indicated that he would get back to me with more information later today, but I have not heard anything yet...
Anyone else who is waiting on a Diesel have more information about the delay and when it will be lifted. I am gonna be leaving the country for a few weeks starting on May 24th. I was hoping to have the vehicle before then.
Of course with my luck, they will call me the day I leave to say that it has arrived.

Its frustrating. Waiting so long, and then at the last minute having to wait even longer. I will keep an eye out here, and I will post up if I hear anything from my SR. I have been bugging him so much that practically everyone in the dealership knows who I am by now.

I'm betting on tomorrow or Monday at the latest..............
I got mine in about 5 or 6 days after I got a similar "port" date. The dealer (apparently ) gets an email to expect delivery from the carrier the very day the truck is rolling in. That's how mine went anyway.............hang in thereAtleast that is comforting
. Lets see ..... why the month of May is rolling so slow

Danno...call your rep and see what he has on yours....
Here was one...

There are two different tables. I am assuming that the upper one is for Germany, and the lower one was for M-Class vehicles (which are built in Vance)
Does B4 mean production has started, or does it mean that production has been completed?
Jack, I am gonna give my sales guy a day off from calling him... Since I have called and/or gone to see him daily for the past week... He has assured me that when the VIN is assigned he will give me a call...

I started to feel the same way and then I thought " the money I'm spending......I'm entitled to call" If it weren't for those of us willing to buy these cars, then some of these folks would be working for landscapers or something like that!
Good Luck!
