Ditto to all of the above. Recently got 20.1 mpg on recent trip (about 300 mi). The more I drive it the more I love it. Also like being the only one around; it really turns heads. My 12 yr old asks "why everyone is looking at our car?"

There are at least two other GLs in my neighborhood, 450's. One of them is white, and while that's nice I'm still happy with the black. Very sharp!

I like the attention to detail and the german enigneering.
Safety and comfort is also very good, I like the design better then the Q7 and RR ones. I got the 5 seater version and the space behind the second row is incredible, more then enough space for luggage and my 3 dogs.
Funny thing is that I found 3 immigrants looking at and talking about my car one evening.
