Is "Java" leather available on the GL?
I'm looking at a pre-owned GL that's advertised as being black with "Java leather." That's definitely not a currently available standard color, per the mbusa website - possibly a special order? Or did the dealership just mess up in describing it? $@^$# dealer is taking his sweet time getting back to me.....thanks for any insight.

I think they got it mixed up. Java is a light color interior I think on the E series and probably others as well. He probably meant Macademia which is a little darker.

It's most likely what jpeardm says. It could also be that this is a premium edition and they had "Nappa" leather.
dbex - if you don't mind me asking, how many miles on the car and how much is dealer asking for it?

Yeak I think they only made 750 of those Premier Editions with Nappa which I guess is almost black color. Maybe it's one of those showing up on the used market.

Yeah, I figure it's macadamia, which is fine by me. It's got about 10k miles on it; the dealer is asking $61.9k. That's steep, but it's pretty well optioned - premium, appearance, lighting, heating and sunroof packages, and trailer hitch (which I don't need). I'll try for a couple thousand more off if I make an offer.
