installed AMG pedals
Just Installed AMG pedal set. I love the way they look, matches my running boards. Very easy to install, the gas pedal slips right over the original one, brake and parking brake needs removal of original ones which slips right off. I think this is the easiest upgrade I have ever done on a car, took less than 2 minutes.Bought them from ebay , paid $69 bucks, genuine Mercedes item. Fits the 550 personality well.

Bought it from ebay, seller giorgos_@freenet.de. Got it for a great price as others were selling similar item for much higher. I noticed that some of them didn't even have the parking brake pedal.

Mercedes part numbers
accel pedal: 164 300 00 82 $13.65
brake pedal: 170 290 01 82 $12.48
emerg pedal: 164 430 00 84 $30.81
prices here: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=213951
Note: these are called option code 952 Sports Package or code P95 Sports Package Interior
It's cute to note that the original black brake pedal pad has a 123 part number, meaning it's been used since the W123. This is the second W123 part number I'm aware of used on the GL, as the same door lock pins have been used on most Euro models since then, too.

I don't quite understand since I don't have the pads yet. But when you say you forced the pedal out and then cut the pin. Can you elaborate a little on that procedure? What did you cut the pin with?

I am not as proficient on searching for this pedal seller as Nevada Jack is...I searched the e-mail address provided but couldn't find him - any way to supply the link to his site? On eBay right now the only AMG pedals are for the gas and break, not the park brake. Thanks much!!!

Chrome Hood Fins
I just called Park Place and clarified the price and the chrome finish on the Hood Fins. The price is 121.70 and when you click it shows $132.68. He said when I ordered on line to make a note there was a price difference and they would sell them at the $121.70.
However, I asked about the matte finish and he said that is how they are now coming in. So no high-gloss finish. Could this be due to reflections off the high gloss fins? How do you think the matte chrome finish would look? Anybody aware of another source for these?
