Does Anyone have the itemized invoice price for the GL 450?

It seems that a lot of websites have innacurate information. They have the main invoice price, however, they are vague about the invoice on the options and packages. I want to make sure that I make an educated offer to the dealer. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

regardless of invoice, I think the popular vote will tell you there's about 6-6.5% to play with. Not that you'll get 6% off, but 3% might be negotiated.

You can be very secure in MSRP less 7% to arrive at dealer invoice. This would include any options and packages you might order. I don't think I still have pdf's with the numbers, but, my invoice was spot-on 7% less than MSRP.

Keep in mind...dealers will still make a profit selling a car at invoice.

I always negotiate from invoice. I don't negotiate off of MSRP. Being that I am located in California, I am sure I can pretty close to invoice, especially since I will be ordering in November/December time frame. "O ye of little faith"

You will get a bigger discount if you buy off the lot vs. ordering one.

Thank you, that is helpful. I agree, at invoice the dealer will still make money, and I am sure come November/Dec time frame, MB will start throwing incentives to the dealers.

You do? I found the opposite when I ordered my last two BMWs. Thanks for the info.

For the inventory on the lot. If you order those incentives disappear fast. I bought mine last Dec and all dealers started at invoice for on lot inventory.

I am not familiar with BMWs discount structure but MB sure pushes to move on lot inventory. Hope you do get a great deal and get the one you want.

I agree with you, Nish. My BMW dealer always tries (via price) to get me to take an on-lot model vs order - same as my MB dealer with the GL.

+1, When I ordered mine Edmunds was spot on with what I paid other than adding the IRG (marketing support) which varies from region to region.
