GL died at stop sign
We traveled for some Xmas visiting a few days ago and WAY out in the boonies, we pull up to a stop sign, stop, and the GL just dies. We're in the middle of nowhere, we've got our 18 mo old in the back, and loaded with Xmas presents. We look at each other, like 'oh shxt'. DH puts it in park and presses the start button and it starts back up.

It hasn't happened since, but now I'm a bitty bit nervous about it.

Anyone else had this happen?

Are you sure the start button wasn't bumped while stopping and your husband turned it off ? I hoped the 550's might escape problems but maybe there araen't enough on the road yet to report.

I am very sure he did not accidentally turn it off...

I would have been frazzled if my two kids were in the back too. I'm wondering if the teleaid sends diagnostic info? Did you push the help button to test if it worked out were you were?
