My MB Christmas Present

My husband is an avid collector of pens and he also does woodworking. While browsing through one of his pen catalogs, he came across a genuine MB roller ball pen in Capri Blue. He then took a piece of manzanita wood and made a one-of-a-kind pen holder for me, complete with MB emblem.

The MB emblem is the actual one from my GL that was replaced when I had the hood repainted after an incident with a rock. I've had the emblem on my desk at home since the summer and I guess I have so much junk on my desk, I didn't notice it was missing!

It's hard to see the detail of the pen, but there is an MB emblem on it and it is truly Capri Blue.

Oh, I also got the chrome switch plate covers and the Bluetooth puck

Here is where he got the pen. The color on the web site is Navy Blue, but it matches my Capri Blue GL.

What a great present! I think Allen should start a sideline business. He could call it formymercedesdesk.com.

BTW... how was the camping? 9" of snow here today, so not a good day for camping as you can imagine.

LOL! Good idea, Brian, about the sideline business

Camping was great. No wind at all until Christmas morning & that's when we left to drive 5 hours to get to my parent's house. My in-laws stayed at the camp site and the wind was so bad that they had to leave around 11 am. I was very happy to have a nice, long shower last night & let's just say that the 125 cc dirt bike I rode and I did not get along very well! I'll stick to riding street motorcycles vs. dirt!

Suh-WHEEET! That looks like something you'd see in a catalog, for sure!

My MB Christmas gift was from Park Place - an F1 reversible jacket, and F1 tee, a Mercedes emblem golf cap, and an MB cooler (sort of a ballistic nylon covered shoulder tote) for the back of the beast.

What can I say? My wife loves me a lot.

Sorry about the link not working, but yes, if you click on "mercedes" on the left side, it will take you to the area where the pens are.

If he ever does it, you tell him that I'm first in line to be his first customer.
