Multiple electronic button failure

2007 320 CDI GL: soft key position for "back" function, a popular button to use, has stopped working, with no response. Rear door driver's side keyless entry button has failed. Anyone else experience same?

BTW, I have not had any electrical problems whatsoever since they diagnosed and corrected the leak...
