DEAD Battery! HELP!!
What is yours in the shop for? Hopefully nothing serious!
Jokes aside, it's just a couple of minor nags such as iPod amp install, loose door handle and a loose paddle shifter.

Dealership I go to, they love me now since they find out about a bunch of TSBs/fixes from me. Case in point was the iPod amp fix. They had no idea how to fix that and when they discovered it was only a 10 cent part and 15 min labor, they were happy since a lot of people had that complaint. Of course, they don't let me talk to other customers lest I "educate" them

Tell me about the iPod amp? What problems with the iPod were you experiencing? I have the iPod integration kit as well. So far sounds great, but just want to know what to look for down the road
Yes, I have the firm but polite stance. I am not the type of person to get nasty. But I do get my way

Thanks for the info!

Brought it in, and sure enough, bad battery, under warranty, and i was on my way. Got a spankin new E-class loaner by the way, that was very well equipped, might i add.

I do believe there is a light though because the dealer asked if it came on. There is a constant draw on the battery, now to just find the culprit. I know part of it was the malfunctioning DVD player. I have not heard anything today. I got the C230, fairly new. Question-the tail pipes say AMG but no where else on the car. Do you just think they put AMG tips on it? Cool if it were AMG huh?
They better not lose the keys this time!
I'd tell 'em it will be fixed properly when you pick it up next time, meantime you'd like to drive the owner's vehicle. (What? It's worth a try! Unless the owner drives an SLR ... then maybe no.)
That type of "service" on a GL is purely unacceptable. Did they even test drive it?
