A quick question as I am new to the GL 'world'.
Is the seller correct when they state that these 21" AMG wheels will fit any GL? Does this also include the 320CDI?
Any help appreciated.

If the rolling radius of the two different sets of wheels with the correct tyres are the same I'm not sure why gas mileage would be affected.
Yes the 21" wheels and tyres are wider, so there would be increased air resistance, (drag), but I would have thought this a very small factor, since the GL is not the most aerodynamic vehicle, even on its 18" wheel/tyre combo.
Also, the 21" wheels would be heavier perhaps than the factory 19"s, but once again the increased overall weight compared to the total weight of the vehicle is marginal.
Is there something I'm missing here?

Wouldn't the larger footprint w/more pavement friction (not air drag) & that the extra weight of the wheels is unsprung make it more of an issue than just adding a few extra lbs? There's a reason why fuel-efficient vehicles don't come w/big rims.
