If you take a look at the cars that are most driven by men and compare it with cars most driven by women in that story, it gets even more interesting...
Men tend to drive the really expensive and really exciting cars... Ferrari, Maybach, Lambo, Bimmer 6 series, 2 Mercedes SUVs, Rolls Royce, Dodge Viper, Aston Martin and Caddy Escalade ESV (a shocker actually) were all on the list.
Women however tend to drive cheap, boring economical cars... Chrysler Pacifica, Hyundai Tiburon, Mazda CX-7, Honda Pilot, BMW Z4 (okay here is an exception), Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris (which my wife says sounds like its named after a female body part), Hyundai Elantra, Kia Spectra, Honda Fit
The Range - Rover doesn't come close to the level of luxury in the GL IMO. **** poor build quality, and that overly boxy shape, with substandard reliability aren't exactly things to rave about.

I'm an exception as I've always loved cars (got that from my Dad) and fell in love with the lines of the GL the first moment I saw a white one on a Los Angeles freeway.

Is the GL really that "masculine?"

By the way, God I hate Forbes and those top 10 lists. Why can’t they put the list on one readable page instead of that stupid automatic slide show thing they do.
Every GL I've seen in the DC area has been driven by a women. My wife only lets me drive it if I've been a good boy - obey the speed limit, don't run yellow lights, etc..
I bought the 320 CDI for my wife to drive. If I was going to have a GL as a daily driver, it would be the 550, as the 550 is obviously a more 'sporting' variant of the GL. My wife knows her 320 is a diesel, fuels it herself, (even though I always offer to), doesn't care that it smells 'different', or sounds different.
I agree with many others here who believe that the 320 is becoming an excellent substitute for the ex-Suburban, etc. crowd, hence is probably driven by more women than men.

Heck, in the DC area most of the men know nothing about their cars. I had one MAN walk up to my C32, which was parked next to another colleague's C280 (same W203 body style) and tell me that my car was "a little bigger than Chris's car." I said, "No, it's the same size." He stands firm, "No, yours is definitely a little bigger." Right. They made my C class a little bigger than all the others.

But then again you haven't seen Newbie's dad's garage.
