Engine Oil Warning Message
The interesting thing was they left a listing of a "star bulletin" in the back seat of my GL when I picked it up. The sheet actually lists several possibilities of problems from computer settings to wrong length dip sticks (causing the wrong amount of oil to be present) to sensor in the wrong position, etc. It does list each issue with each model number that each vehicle has according to vin # Mine fell into the category that it needed a new sensor so they just changed it.
I dont buy the story that changing computer settings will fix 90% of the problems. I am sure the dealers have this information but may do several "fixes" until they get it right to get more warranty $$$. (oops, I didn't say that-- I'm sure they are all honest).
Anyway, good luck getting your issue fixed.

Just incase there are doubters out there.
I picked my car up and the problem appears to be fixed. They replaced the oil sensor and the oil pan. One benefit I guess was that they agreed (only after I asked, though) to credit me the $63 parts charge for the new oil on the "A" service, since replacement of the oil was included in the sensor repair under warranty.
Btw, they did perform a TSB on a compressor for the suspension. Didn't notice any change in ride and the air release noise is still there.
