thanks Brocktoon.
The Geolander HTS specifics match the requirement.
165-60-18 with 110H Speed Rated.
I hope any brand is is better than lousy contis(which comes with GL). And want to find out if any one used it, if so their opinion.

Our GL came with the Michelin Latitude 18s. They have been a great tire, good handling, not too much road noise. But pretty shot at 20K miles.
Fairly similar scores to the Yokohama on TireRack.com (the Contis seem to be universally hated, guess we got lucky with the OEM tires). Would be nice to know if someone has had similarly good experience on the Yokohamas before shelling out the extra $$$ for the Michelins.

Not all the 19 inch Contis are bad. My 2007 has 24,000 miles, have rotated them every 7500 miles, and by measurement have half the depth left. They have been fine for me...

I, too, have the Contis and have had no problems at all with them. I have 26,000 miles and still lots of tread left.
I had a slow leak in the right front that has been there almost since I bought the car. Started off filling with air every 7K or so, then got to every other month, then almost weekly. Took the GL in to have the tires rotated & had the new colored center caps put on & had them look at the tire. I figured it was a bad valve stem...nope...they found a large screw in the tire. The head was completely worn off of the screw, it had been in there for so long.

Since Yokohamas are rated good by lot of people as well as tire stores. and also they are way cheap.

I had been using Geolander HTS tires on a Volvo XC90 until swapping them out for a set of Goodyear Fortera Triple Treads in late July. There was nothing wrong with the Geolanders. They were just down to the wear bars.
I bought the Fortera TTs for performance/safety reasons...forum sponsor Tirerack rates them as having the best dry, wet, and winter traction in their class. I haven't had a chance to run them in the winter yet but for dry and wet traction, the Fortera TTs clearly outperform the Geolander HTS's.
The Geolanders themselves aren't bad. They were several notches better than the OEM Firestones that came on the XC90. It's just that the Fortera TTs are that good.
Tirerack links are here:

Good luck with your decision!

My 4 tires has been replaced with Yokohamas recently. Forgot to post the reply.
my initial impression is : very very good compared to Contis.
they are quieter. no degradation in the fuel efficiency.
i strongly recommend these to all.
