That pewter/black looks like a better combination to me. The macadamia does show more dirt in my verde brook GL than the black did in my ML500

But then I wouldn't get a chance to be the mule and drive it across country to you. I figure you'd want me to make sure it didn't stall in the first two thousand miles

Hahaha! Personal delivery would be nice
MB Fanatic- I know your right. I am kinda gun shy about buying another 08 anyway. I do like the upgrades with the 09, just not sure about the run flats and snow. I haven't had the chance to check out their treads

Kaila, The 2009 Upgrades are really nice. I do not think you have to worry about the runflats on the 450. I think they only putting them on the 320 bluetec.

You should get a GL450 in Pewter/Black Leather with P2 package and the full leather package.
Also get ADS, and RSE. I think the Appearance package is nice but not worth it.

I really like the chrome front/rear skid plates (have them now) and I need the cross bars for my carrier. Just don't like the run flats.....

Yep, it's in the P2. What you could do is go to MBUSA and build one with what you want. Then give that to the dealer and tell them what your flexible on and what is a must have.
I bought a 2006 Dodge mega-cab in January of 2007. The incentives were huge and then I have a deal through work where I get employee pricing plus the incentives. There were very few left in the country at the time, but I had to have diesel, 3/4 ton, but would go with any darker color, etc..
They found one very close.

Well in my book P2 is a must as is the Full leather package along with ADS and RSE. Even if you have to put a little more into it, you will be thrilled with the P2 options. plus giving where you live the BIX will be your best friend along with the kidos and having RSE or Keyless GO.

Brocktoon-Thanks! How are the travels? I should definitely post my VIN when all said and done. Don't want anyone else to come across my LEMON and think they are getting a good deal

Thanks for asking. I'm home for a couple of days, then off to NYC this week-end. It's been very productive, but exhausting. My wife flew out and met me in Prague, and we came home together, so that was nice. I'm happy your issue is resolved, and that you decided to go GL again.

It feels good to have this resolved. Have fun in NYC, I have always wanted to go there. Maybe once I graduate from nursing school
