wheel size qestion
I am looking forward to buy tires for gl 450, I would like to have 305 40 r22, but I don’t know if they will fit, now I have 295 30 r22 on Lorinser RS9 (I think it’s too low profile)and it looks that it’s about the limit, maybe someone could recommend something. If tires like 305 40 r22 will fit or I will need wheel spacers
best regards

I currently have 305/35-22's on 10inch wide rims with 50et offset.
fit is fine, no rubbing.
fyi 305 /35 is the correct overall diameter compared to oem, but 305/40-22 is markedly less $ per tire, and only slightly taller than oem.
When it comes time to replace the tires, I will probably opt for this size.
I think you can search for this in this forum for exact sizes and prices.

I have 305/40 22 on my gl, Brabus IV they just barely go past the suspension.
I agree that the 295/30 22 could look too lowprofile and I'm quite sure they too small aswell.
And the part about the 305 40 being much cheaper is true asswell.
