2010 GL pricing
msrp on them are 85-86k. and dealers are holding out since they know they have some of the last units for sale.
i called around, and if you are interested downtown la has a blk w/ cashmere 09 gl550 with 40 miles and they are willing to let it go for 70k plus tax and license.
and up in norcal in belmot, a obsiden blk w/ blk with 80 miles they are willing to do 72k plus tax and license.
they won't go any lower so you can't get the 65k price before tax anymore even though mine was purchased only last month
I did get a good lease deal but the numbers are skewed: my lease on the E63 is being pulled ahead by 7 months with 5 months being taken by MB Financial as a part of their current promotion and my dealer figured 2 months into the numbers.
Without the pull ahead, I'm at about invoice less a few hundred bucks and a 36 months lease would be in the mid-high $900s including NJ's 7% sales tax (no cap reduction/down payment). As it is, the lease is still under $1,100/month including the tax - but it saves me some money compared to the remaining payments on the E63, gets me a car I need with a newborn that arrived 6 weeks ago for our now family of 4, and is a new car so I did the deal.
The lease program available on the GL450 made the most financial sense - just wish the program was the same for the GL550!
My advice, order a new one if a Bluetec is what you want. There are no good lease deals on those. The 450 is the lease special that they have. I can opt of 2.9% for 36 mo. or 3.9% for 66 mo. The 3.9% equates to around a $1300/payment for everything but the kitchen sink that I ordered on this vehicle. I am waiting about 3 weeks and the build date is first week in Dec. according to my rep at Ray Catena in NJ. There are also some nice cosmetic changes to the 2010's such as a redesigned front end and wheels along with new colors and LED running and tailights.
