GL550

Brabus exhaust for GL550

I am going to take off my Brabus exhaust from my 2008 GL550 and will be selling it. Nothing is wrong with it, I am just putting the car back to stock. If you would like to see pictures just search for threads made by me. I am located in southern california but I would be willing to ship at buyers expense. I am looking for $1200 obo.

I called Brabus and the exhaust will fit the 450 and the 550.

not worth it since its only mufflers. you can get a custom full mandrel bent exhaust from the cat-back for a lot less than that.

How can you compare a custom bend exhaust with "BRABUS". It's all about the Quality and Reputation!

no question brabus makes some great stuff. but there are things that brabus marks up a lot simply because buyers like you think everything from brabus is worth gold.

$2500 for basically 2 mufflers with 2 muffler tips engraved with the B logo is insane. wouldn't be surprised if the actual cost of materials are under $300. and i would find it hard to believe there was a lot of r&d put into the way the exhaust flows through the cambers.

people get full Ti exhaust for that kind of $$$ and at least then you know the materials justify some of the cost.

another example is brabus's line of wheels. don't get me wrong, i love the design of the monoblock vi but the premium they charge for cast wheels is ridiculous. you can get higher quality forged wheels for the price brabus charges.
