Thanks for the info.
The LEDS on the link you provided is more cheaper than the ebay ones. Haven't bought anything on that site so I'm not sure if its legit.
I looked at the pics at the site and bumpers looked different, not sure if I'm ordering the right one for my 07 GL450. Any inputs?

I looked at the same thing. GL in pictures is newer model.
There says that it is also for your model:
Suitable for Mercedes Benz 06-09 W164/GL320/450/350/420/550 using.

... or you can shop the list at parts.com and pay about the same but have genuine oem fit, finish and all..
the drl lights are 128.40 each... the misc covers are cheap too

I also bought these DRLs. Unlike Crea, I am NOT impressed with them. They do not fit very well as there are gaps at the end of the chrome sections. Also, the area where the stock fogs have two black bars that rest in the two indentations on the bumper cover looks wrong. These DRLs simply try to cover the indentations and leave two more slight gaps. The gaps probably do not show up on Crea's black GL, but on my silver GL it looks obvious (at least to me).

I got a silver GL too so your pics got me wondering if I should stick with OEM parts and do the resistors route.
ALX if you can paste the link for the install for the oem parts that would help me a lot.

Oem parts are of course better than those Chinese copies. For me, the originals were too expensive here delivered to Finland.
How much is the total price of OEM parts and programming, or a new sam unit? Led can use DRL and fog lights?

Its a great truck, but I have recently bought some Chinese Imported DRL's off Ebay for the truck and the wiring diagram/instructions that was supplied differ from the actual kit that I have got!
My kit is identical to Crea's and I was wondering if the lights actually dim automatically when it gets dark or whether or not I have to turn the dial in the truck from auto to lights on for them to power off?
Any advice that you could offer or if somebody could upload their own wiring diagram that would be great as the chinese dude that I am dealing with doesn't get it due to the language barrier.
I love the truck and it is really roomy for my 6'9" 400lbs frame and the GL's are really rare here in the UK as people want smaller rides due to gas prices and the size of our roads. I bet there are like only 500 GL's in the entire UK, I mean I only see one, once or twice a month and I drive 15k miles per annum.
Please can somebody help as I have had the DRL's for 3 months now and am no sooner to getting them onto the truck. Thanks Bigman69
