Cracks Developed on 19" Wheels

My wife came home today and said she noticed some cracks on two wheels while at the car wash. There has been no accident or hard hits of any kind. There is no sign of trauma. The cracks go all the way through to the backside of the spoke. Anybody else experienced this problem. I'm wondering what the dealer will have to say about this. It is still under factory waranty.

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
Scary!
I have the same wheels. I'll be looking.
If warranty does not cover any good rim shop should be able to weld them.

I had the exact same issue. Looks like the same spot too. Dealership replaced it under warranty.

Thanks. I was hoping to hear that they were covered under warranty. Maybe we will have the same outcome.

Makes me glad I got rid of my 19s and switched to 18s.

The dealer replaced the wheels, no questions asked. She got to drive a GLK home for a loaner. I told her that it would make a great retirement vehicle. She just gave me the look. I never said another word.

I'm a fast learner. It only took me 28 years.
