B67875878 bluetooth module compatibility with HTC Phones

I asked this question to Auto Wireless Solutions, and got this answer. Has anyone connected an HTC Android based phone to the Mercedes B67875878 bluetooth module

I currently am using the B67875878 bluetooth module with my Apple 3g iPhone with no issues. I am considering switching to an android based HTC phone (Verizon Incredible, Sprint HTC EVO) I see no HTC phones on your compatibility list. Do you have any information about the newly released Android phones.

Hi Greg,
Mercedes has not yet released any test results for the Droid. You might want to contact Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center at 800-367-6372 to inquire about phone compatibility developments.

GL450 w/ Off-road pkg.
I don't have a DROID, but do have friends that do. I was having problems with my Palm Pre+ and my BT puck, until the puck died. I tried the Viseeo replacement puck, but that device just froze and didn't work as I'd hoped, and swapped it out for the new BT puck (B67876131) and my iPhone 3G, VZW Pre+, and GF's DROID work perfectly now. Synching is way faster with the new unit.

My 2¢.

My Pre+ seems to be working fine - what issues did you have? Since I have a 2007 truck, I have to wonder how new my puck could possibly be.

I talked with my handler at the dealership, he related that my problems with my Pre were likely related to the puck crapping out on me - call drops, failures to connect, that kind of thing. I have a couple of other cell phones - I carry at least one ATTWS and one VZW phone with me, and none of them worked well with the old puck until the puck just wouldn't initiate a pairing sequence. The pucks are warranted for one year, I got three out of mine.

The new puck is hugely faster, and the Bluetooth.org website has a different (updated?) set of BT stack profiles. The dealer sold me the new puck at their cost (the GL is my fourth Benz I purchased through them, they cut me some slack), the puck works, and I just saved a wad on therapy!
