Our new GL550 with 2-tone interior
We just pickup the 2011 GL550 today. It is steel grey with black/ashe 2-tone leather interior. We love the new look and the 2-tone interior exceeded my expectation.

Very nice! Did you get premium leather? Does the the two-tone option include a leather stitched dashboard or is it Artico/MB-tex?

We didn't get the RSE because my children(5 and 7) use their iPOD Touch for songs, games and movies. And the iTouch can go where ever they go but the RSE can't. For us the iTouch and eventual iPad for the kids is the better way.
The leather appears to be the standard leather, not nappa leather. And for the dash, I assume it is standard leather but I could be wrong. The 2-tone leather is only a $250 special charge, and black headliner is highly recommended to bring out the contrast in color. I forgot the cost for the black headliner.

I also have a two-tone interior with black headliner (black/tan). I love it. I think it gives the interior a sporty feeling. Best $250 I have spent.

My dealer contacted me today to say that he would be glad to give me a very aggressive offer on my 07 GL to trade on a new one..... he said the Off-road package on mine makes it very rare and he has customers already "wanting" one if available........... I said, yeah..... and I need it and I can't get it on a new one sooooooo, I drive the 07 till she quits! Being an MB that should be a long ways down the road, right? I've got 65K on it now!

I believe it is on the gas models but unfortunately not on a diesel. I am handing in my 08 for a 2011 but and at least was able to special order ADS. felt my 08 without it was just a bit too squirrelly (if that's a word) over bumps at times.

I have a 2011 GL350 BTC on order and I had the choice between the Off Road Package or ADS. I chose ADS as I wanted the ride comfort rather than the functionality of the underbody skid plates, etc.
But it IS available for the whole GL range. I would be more than glad to post a screenshot of the options listing this weekend.

My sales rep sent me a screen shot for the GL350 build options and it quite clearly shows that the Off Road Package is available.

njb do you think maybe you or you dealer are "wrong", it is a special order option so it would be on the list, but not orderable with the diesel. off road package is more than skid plates and reason it is not available in the diesel is because of the space taken up by the bluetec tank in the back. it has been discussed on many posts but if anyone actually has ordered it or has it on a blutec GL please let everyone here know. and if you have any info that would help me convince my dealer or MBUSA that I can order it would love to have it as my order does not go into production until january -- the 2011 will replace the 08 320 I currently have.
The screenshot he sent me was for the GL450. Not for the GL350 BTC, so I must offer an apology to you. GL350 BTC's are NOT orderable with the Enhanced Off Road Package.
