As for me, I feel I have always been complimentary to the GL, even with as bad a time as I had with mine. I would never say anything so derogatory about someone else's vehicle..not even an Aztec LOL! I personally feel I have great taste (don't we all! lol..) which is what led me to the GL as well. I know everyone (my husband included) always reminds me not to worry about what other people think, but I have to admit, I am far less embarrassed owning a QX that runs than the GL I owned that I never had in my posession because it was in the shop more than I drove it. I got more $#@% for that, than you guys can imagine. Is this reflective on all GL's, of course not. I am, of course, an exception to the rule in the world of GL's, I'm sure.

I totally understand where you guys are coming from regarding the exterior of the QX, but have you seen one up close? Have you driven it? I really don't care what these biased car magazines say about certain vehicles (I subscribed to many of them myself) nor do I care what people think. Life is too short and I graduated from peer pressure effecting me long ago. We like the way it looks. You guys are right though.... it is a love/hate thing - so is kimchee and I love it! The GL is no GQ when it comes to looks. To me, the GL is a G that underwent plastic surgery.
