Is there a way with star to use nav while driving?

Is there a way to program the car with star so we can use the nav while driving ?

2011 GL450 P2, Appearance Pkg, Leather. 2012 C250, P1, Sport, AMG Wheels, Panorama Sunroof.
I guess it depends on the year of your GL. My 2011 allows you to use Nav while driving.

My 2010 E class does not...not sure about 2011 GL, but will try tomorrow

My US 07 e63 allows me but not my Canadian 07 gl320

GLK350, GL320CDI
My GLK 350 2011 does not allow input data during driving only via voice commands but it has a joystick.
but on the other hand GL 350 2011 does allow to input data while driving by hand but no joystick.

Out GL 320 CDI 2008 had the same feature like GL 350 2011

I can input information into the Nav on my 2009 GL320 (Canadian).
