What about calling your local MB shop? I can't imagine the price difference would be all that much vs some random online company and this way you know for sure.

Bringing this back from the dead. Does anyone know what the difference is between BQ6750038 and BQ6750040? Is it just a simple change up or is there more to it? Looks like 38 is NLA so 40 may just be the new part number but I'd like to confirm before I order. Can't really find any images online for 40.

I’m interested as well if someone orders the updated Part Number what it looks like and how it works. I have a tray that fits behind third row then this vinyl cover for the rest. Would be nice to have something that folds with the seats.

Yup it arrived. It's good and bad. I actually havent installed it yet because I need to figure out how to attach the "flaps" to the tops of the 3rd row seats. The previous owner used velcros but they didn't seem to hold to the carpet in the car at all. Maybe it because it was quite old...
The good is that the mat folds up and down with the seats and protects the area behind the 3rd row quite well. The rubber is pretty heavy so it should do a reasonably good job of protecting the carpet underneath.
The bad is that, in comparison to the large cargo mat that covers the entire areas with the 3rd row folded down, it doesn't not provide as complete coverage. Not only is there the obvious gap between the flaps but there are also no "ears" in the upper corners like there are in the large mat. All this is fairly obvious but my original plan on scrapping the large mat is not gonna happen. I'll keep it around in case I need to haul things like sod or gardening supplies as it protects the rear area much more fully. The foldable mat I'll keep in there for every day use for things like regular shopping trips etc.
Hope that helps.
