New OEM Cargo Liner for GL with "Seat Feature"
Not sure if anyone has seen this in person yet, but just ordered one of these for our cargo liner solution. I was using the ML tray that covered all but about a foot behind the second row, and then I saw this from MB. Works with the rear seats up or down.
OE part number is BQ6750038. I should have mine next week and will let you know my opinion. Looks like a good solution as long as you don't carry any really sloppy stuff that will go between the cracks.

You may be surprised by this one. Retail is $145 and there is a dealer selling on eBay for around $120 shipped. Not bad for a new product, and one that is pretty specific as it relates to allowing the seats to be used, one or the other or both.

Got it delivered today
Obviously, pretty straight forward to put in place. Push in the spots that have the velcro on the back side and it doesn't slide at all. I think this is a really good solution for what it is. I don't think I would drive around with buckets of water and think this would contain a spill, but we don't use our GL like that anyway!
Picture isn't so great, I guess the new iPhone 4S should cure that though.

I would equate this product to the floor liner mats (or Weathertec) in the plastic material is a little slick. It's not the rubber as in the "all weather" floor mats MB sells. I wouldn't recommend a dog standing on this when you are driving.

Perfect, thank you for the detailed response. I have the Weathertech liners - and they are slick! We just use old towels for the dog - guess I'll have to stick with them.

I can deal with the slickness just fine, thanks for the report of such a nice addition to a nice vehicle. I like to use my SUV for actual truck type stuff and I'm sure my wife will appreciate me buying this.
Now, question for all you fine MB gurus. Does anyone sell one piece 2nd and 3rd row floor mats in carpet. My lovely wife said she refused to put the awesome rubber ones in as she hates the look so I need to find some. My girls love to put their dirty feet in the middle and I want to cover the floor there so they don't jack it up.

I'm still trying to talk the wife into one piece rubber rear mats but she is stubborn. Still, what a nice vehicle. She is coming from a Ford Escape that was nearly as loud as my 73 VW Thing, with no interior, to drive and slow as a slug so it is so nice to drive this and not have to raise my voice to drive. No, it's not as comfortable as my E class but it is nicer than any other vehicle I've owned.

Kids will make a mess with their shoes. So I would present it to her like this...Weathertech liners across the back row and middle row & front row
- otherwise you are guaranteed to do more cleaning that is necessary! Kids could care less whats on the floor anyway!! Most of the time their feet aren't even on it - just the mud and water dripping form the shoes!
