Just bought a GL450 2012 model Middle East Version (2011 US version), would like to boost bhp and also retrofit BLIS as mirrors are dangerous from a blind spot perspective as nearly had a collision on the day of the delivery had I not looked over my shoulder. I live in Dubai hence would appreciate some guidance on who to approach. I also would like to fit AMG interior mats, pedals and logos, where can I buy AMG stuff in DUbai.

AMG logos?.... it's a GL450.

My GL450 came fitted with the AMG body kit and wheels, however not the logos, thus although it's not a GL63, it's a GL450 with AMG styling.

No such thing as AMG body kit for X164 GL. Even so, AMG bumpers does not equal AMG.

There's a reason it didn't come with the logos.

Actually ..there is. GL350 Bluetec Canada edition looks exactly like US GL550 and it's called there AMG package.

It may be called that but it's just rims. The actual front bumper styling of the GL550 is not AMG branded. The rear bumper is the same as all other GLs. It does have flares similar to that of an ML63. So in the end you're only left with AMG wheels. And since when did AMG wheels = AMG?

You purchased the wrong car to modify. Should have held out for the 2013 GL450. It's easily upgraded to 500+ hp with an ECU tune.

I saw an E350 yesterday with the AMG badge on the back...what a joke! I don't want to derail this thread but I can't stand when people put AMG logos on a car that is not an AMG. Wheels and body effects are fine if you like how they look but these add ons do not make the car an AMG.
