Diamond vs Arctic White
I just placed an order for a 2013 GL550 with Auburn Brown Designo interior and Arctic white exterior. However, I've been going back and forth b/w Arctic and Diamond. Thoughts on the DW vs AW on a GL550?
BTW, test drove a 2013 gl450 (no 550's yet) and was very impressed. Quiter and smoother than the 2012. Interior was of course very nice. My only complaint would be a slight lack of power (for me) at lower RPMs (maybe a bit of turbo lag). Otherwise a wonderful truck.

Both are nice. The DW is "warmer" whereas the AW will provide a cleaner contrast.
I'm also considering the Designo Auburn. Question for you--did you have a choice between Auburn leather top dash and Black?

I was not given the choice. But I didn't think to ask either. Having seen a white ML63 with Designo Auburn on the dash in a parking lot a few wks ago, I would definitely do Auburn. It was beautiful. Only wish I would have taken a closer look at the exterior paint to judge AW vs DW. Maybe if I was going with an exterior color other than white, I might think differently.

Nice. Chances are, the ML63 would have been a DW. Most white ML63s I've seen are DW.
Great color combination! Did you get the Brown Satin Ash wood also? When is your expected delivery date?
Also, did you order Easy Entry? I was told it would not be available until model year 2014. Just curious if there was a new update on that issue.

Def. diamond white...if it were available to order on our 09, we would have got it. AW is a very nice color, but I parked our arctic GL next to a DW GL at the dealership, and DW is a much warmer color.
Looks almost like Cadillac's pearl white, without the stupid color changing/rainbow effect.

Panoramic roofs ARE coming in. I test drove a 550 with one. However, be advised that the third row has NO sunshade whatsoever. The car will bake...
