Hi All,
Trying to get the illuminated side running boards installed on my 2012 GL 350.
What should I pay for them and how much should labor cost me?
Also, should I buy some where else (recommendations appreciated) and install it with a local MB car repair guy?

ebay for 400….and install is 4 hrs …at dealer…only problem it installs on the board facing the sides….you gotta find a custom shop to install it on the underside so they actually work like puddle lights / entrance lights..

no jus Original benz part ….it comes as kit in benz packaging …..the other ones r jus led lights no harness for factory plug in ...

Good info. Any idea what the standard hourly rate is at dealer? Just bought mine and want the LED's as well. Curious if warranty could be affected by installing these after fact. I know it should cause anything but you never know with warranties. Thanks in advance...

if genuine part does not affect warranty …dealer wants 4 hr labour …about 90 / hr ….other LED s could affect warranty...

Thanks - 4 hours = about $360 + parts... have to decide whether that is worth it for looks vs function. Thanks again.

Tried eBay found a few options,but just not sure which ones are genuine.

Talked to the dealer says I cannot get an OEM for less than $850-900 as thats his cost price. he says if there is anything out there less than that, its not a Genuine OEM, especially in the $450 range.
