Check engine light next day after oil change...car jerks sometimes and just stalled
I had an oil change the other day. The check engine light came on when driving on highway but no symptoms. Then the next day it jerked when going up a hill a tiny bit. I called the shop and they can't look at it right away. But my wife now tells me it stalled on her in an intersection. Any idea what this might be? It seemed to idle high for a minute the other day too.

May be unrelated to oil change. But in any case, anything will be a guessing game on what the problem is before the codes are known. Sounds like its misfiring, which would be caused by either coils or spark plugs. At least I would check those first. I wouldnt drive it before you figure out what the codes are.
