Sound is good on ALL other sources. Sat radio will only show channel 184 preview channel, no sound on 184, and Sirius says they sent signal twice. What's the trick? This is dumb if it has to go to dealer for a simple sat setup on a new account.

OK I found out how to open the rear seat to find the sat module and I unplugged it and re-plugged in. Now, the fan comes on after I plug it back in, only for like 5 sec, and then turns off. Can you tell me if your fan is on all the time when radio is ON?? And what year is yours.

Same issue. Is there a certain sequence you did? Since this is new to me, I can't remember if it always did this or used to have sound on the preview Channel, but trying to set up new service and can't get past this portion.

Try disconnecting battery for a few minutes to attempt a system reset. If this fails module “may” need replacement - MB DAS for definitive diagnose.

After sitting for a day the preview channel finally had sound while driving. Had Sirius sent the signal again, then it connected.

But, it's sporadic. It will play then will cut out and say no service randomly. Antenna or module?

Had it in for something else and it looks like is antenna. $800 labor to put new antenna harness in. Any other options? Aftermarket antenna?

Are there there any aftermarket antennas for sat radio that can be mounted inside? Don't want to deal with ripping down headliner to fix factory antenna that seems to be a known issue to break.
