New to the Mercedes world
I have a 2010 GL450 that i purchased in Dec of '16. I really love this truck, but unfortunately friday i had my first welcoming to the benz world, with I'm assuming my air bag or air shock popped and it sounded like a gunshot. Well, now of course my front end looks like a lowrider. The strange thing about it was, it felt like the front passenger side that burst, but my driver side air shock always seems to rise slower than the passenger side. Since it just happened friday i haven't had a chance to take the truck to be seen yet, but just to give me a little even playing ground when i do talk to a mechanic what do you guys think my problem is or whats the best solution?

moved to X164 forum...
buy Arnott struts and have mechanic install it...

Should I buy just the air shock or the complete strut with air bag on it

How many miles on those struts ? I would probably replace the whole assembly.

Best would be to buy full assembly from Arnott website. They give lifetime warranty and you get to replace it free if it fails in future. Other option would be FCPEURO website as they also have life time warranty on mostly all merchandise.

Then best it to replace the whole assembly. Strut is about to go in another 5-15K miles.

Will do thanks a lot. I was just on Arnott website funny they don't have prices for new strut and air spring but have the price for a refurbished one $344.40 with a $165 core😏
