Non-Start Mystery
08 GL320cdi
Car parked in sub zero weather.
Would not start.
Jump start did not work
Battery charger at 2 amps for 30 hours did not work.
Absolutely no activity when key turned in ignition.
Replaced main battery with new, fully charged battery.
Still zero action at ignition. Seems like no voltage reaching start circuits.
No starter problems prior to cold weather.
Door locks work.
Can't **** out of park.
Seats movable.
Trip info and mileage appears on LCD screen then disappears
Vehicle parked on street and 65 miles from dealer.
Anybody have a clue on what to check?
Have confirmed that radio will come on
Two overhead courtesy lights come on.

thanks, but have no test equipment other than a multimeter.
I can check fuses and will confirm starter and engine fuses in fuse block under hood are OK.
Need guidance on most likely spots where trouble could lurk, assuming there is no broken wire that is out of site.
No starter issues prior to this event either.
I have replaced the main battery but could the aux battery be playing a role here?
No known wiring problems prior to this incident.
Car driven to the spot where it now sits and then after several sub zero days would not start.

2002 c240 and 2000 ML320
I have same problem, I replaced the battery on GL 350 bluetec (2011) after no staret even from jump start. Now all things light up but no crank and no start. SRS light is on also LIM light is on.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Wow, this is unfortunate, sorry. I have been there too with my R.
So many many things can cause this issue. Have you connected any kind of scanner to read the codes?
In the mean time; Check the SAM's and CGW for water damage due to water ingress.

are your check lights coming on on your gauge cluster? (check engine light seat belt light etc..)
can you roll the windows down in the on position?
