2013 gl450 with appearance package

tire choices

the tires on my 2013 gl 450 are worn. they are 275 50 r20s. I would like to hear some recommendations. Thank you in advance.

I like pirelli all season scorpion verde plus.

You might get more choice from changing to 275-55-20

2012 GL 350

I was just researching this since I thought I was going to fail inspection, but just snuck by with 3/32" and now I can wait until after winter (since I run winter tires.) I didn't pay any attention to snow traction since I run winter wheels, so if that's important you should research it.

Your options in that size (all reviews are from Tire Rack and other sites I researched):

Michelin LTX: These get decent reviews and have median tire life around 30k on a GL. Not a run flat tire. Get noisy as they age.

Pirelli Scorpion Verde: Low tread wear and get noisy quickly. Good ride. Not a run flat.

Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400: Disappointing treadwear and poor ride quality due to being a run flat. Treadwear is average.

Michelin Primacy Tour A/S: Generally good reviews, and decent treadwear. Excellent ride.

Hankook Ventus EVO2 SUV: Generally poor reviews all around, especially concerning fast wear and noise.

These tires you list are all very good, even excellent in some cases. But Michelin is really really expensive. Look into the grabber hts60
your going to live them.

Anyone running the Hankook Dynapro AT? I have put them on my last 3 trucks (2 Expeditions, 1 Yukon Denali) and really like them. They wear like iron and the ride is still pretty good. Not sure how I'm going to like the aggressive look on the GL but they are going on in a few weeks. The Bridgestone Duelers appear to have lasted less than 20K.
