Does TC Drain plug have red Locktite?
Im changing the ATF on my 2012 GL 350 it has 60k miles and its the first time im changing the ATF. The TC drain plug is so tight, just wondering if it has red locktite so i can use heat? Thanks

It does have loctite from the factory but should be fairly easy to remove. It also should be disposed of when servicing. Make sure you have a hardened socket.

Red loctite is used for things that needs to be fixed for a long time or has a lot of vibration. The correct loctite to use is the blue one, that is going to fix the drain plug and allow you to remove it easily in the future.
The color of the locktite is according to its strength and not temperature. From the lowest strength to the highest the colors are: purple, blue, red and green. The color is not temperature related.
