It's so pretty. Just like a Christmas tree.
Check the front SAM, perhaps. Any chance there is water intrusion into the passenger compartment?
P.S. Good for you, doing basic electrical diagnostic work first. When electrical mayhem occurs, first check the charging voltage and battery health.

It is truly a robust design. It needs a sump pump.
The "L" stands for Luxury; it was meant to siphon off all the posers who bought the G, driving it to Rodeo Drive and back. As it happened, this worked, except the unwashed masses also stormed in to buy the GL, attracting a whole new class of poser to continue buying the G.
It's funny because the owner's manual actually suggests crossing bodies of water.
I need to explore the well under the driver's seat. It is one area I have yet to explore. I am actually only half joking about installing a sump pump; a water intrusion alarm, like I ought to get for my cellar, which houses all the house plumbing, is cheap insurance.
OP, if your problem is intermittent, the prognosis is not terrible. You can recover a lot of electronics by rinsing with DI water and placing in the refrigerator, which is a very dry environment.

The skylight (aka pano roof) would be a dandy location for a pop-up gunner, like the one manning a 50 cal on a humvee.
If the pano roof were hinged and thick high tensile strength steel, or Kevlar, it could serve as a shield for a rear facing gunner. This is how you get feral leftists off your tail.
Anything would be more useful than that stupid slab of lexan.

Wow all the GLs are experiencing very similar symptoms around the 10ish year mark. Lot of time for things to get plugged up i guess.
Also 2000 to diagnose is insane. Are they insinuating it will take them 13+ hours at 150/hr?
Diagnostic time goes by hourly rate. Scum.

Hahaha I have the same deal going on. Happened to me driving through the mountains.
Found my roof rack bolt at the rear leaking. I will cap off the rear squirter as well.
thanks for the tips.
