Underbody Damage

The photo isn’t really that detailed, can you take off all the underbody panels so we can get a better look? I know you’re dealing with some very rough roads out your neck of the woods, but as long as any fuel or other fluid lines, haven’t been punctured it doesn’t really matter… It’ll probably happen again.
for what it’s worth, the side panel with the hole iwould be where the runningboards are. If you were so equipped. Underneath, there is an aluminum rail that holds the side steps. Not sure if it does anything for the structural rigidity of the vehicle because it can be removed..

In areas that get snow and the salty mess they put on the roads, that hole would be an invitation for rust to set in and fester. Other than the inevitable long term damage, I don't imagine much structural damage short term. Fix the hole (or at least fill it with silicone?).

Don`t worry about it, we all have some kinda addiction and ours is the Star addiction, honestly they are a pain in the butt lately but oh well, I just love the ride.
