GL63 Base VS GL63 Perfomance Package
The GL63 Performance package gives a boost to both hp and lb-tq and has the distinctive red calipers instead of the silver ones. I read somewhere 550 hp and 590 lb-tq ( not too sure though)

Red calipers are listed as a separate option in netstar per fabbris1's post. I am not sure of the cost. I was going to ask my SA tomorrow.

Interesting info from MB Frankfurt:
you can get the brake calipers painted red for about 700 euros
AMG Driver's Package :with the AMG Driver's Package the maximum speed of the vehicle at 270 km / h is raised. The driver can also attend a one-day driver training course at the AMG Driving Academy, where he taught under professional supervision and the safe and sporty driving with peers experienced an unforgettable event.
I have not been able to find out anything about a power upgrade from the Mb websites I checked.

Any ideas when the GL63 is going to show up on the US site?

I really don't think there will be a performance package upgrade for the GL63. Both the GL, ML and G63s are torque limited due to the all wheel drive system to 560 ft-lbs. That is why the ML63 performance package doesn't pick-up the full torque load that the other M157 engines due in rear wheel drive configuration. For the GL and G series, I think MB decided the heavier curb weight and price point necessitated the full output version.
Kind regards

No idea, maybe Fabris1 can chip in since he has insider info
Performance Pack (additional horsepower) and ECO Stop/Go were standard equip with my order?
I was told (friend speculating outside MB) ECO was required on AMG version in order to meet fuel economy standards. Given the GL63 AMG could (my opinion) hit single digit fuel economy in manual mode this isn't too hard to belief!
