AMG Sport Pedals installed
did my first little mod - AMG brushed metal (stainless steel) sport pedals with the rubber studs. these are the same that come installed on the ML63 (and i'm assuming they will be on the GL63 too).
they are a perfect fit and really look nice IMHO. personally i think any car of this price range and caliber should have nicer looking pedals instead of just plain-jane rubber pedals (and actually, the accelerator has no pad, it's just a thin piece of non slip plastic). easy install, no tools required.

also, the brake pedal pad is basically the same size. for some reason the angle i took the picture makes it look like the plain rubber one is larger, but it's really the same size.

Have you fellows seen the AMG door lock pins for the X166 anywhere? I saw them in a European accessories catalog for the GL but cannot find them listed in the USA.

I just ordered some aerowings for my GL from Jerry at formymercedes.com. I asked him about AMG lock pins and his belief is that it's unlikely that the current pins are removable, at least in the back seat, and possible the front seat.

eBay $80 + $6 shipping. Great seller - arrived in two days after purchase.
I verified in advance that they were OEM and indeed they are.

Pedals with part#'s from the photo's available from your MB dealer - list $50 + $27 = $77 + tax.
They are not directly listed under W166 and/or X166 accessories... yes, German made..

I did notice that the seller on Ebay has now jacked them up to $89 plus shipping. Must have thought he was selling them too cheap since he sold two sets really quick!

They look great.... Now you gotta find a matching dead foot pedal. I have one that I have moved from each of my last two MBs and now it's installed in my 63!
eBay special.
