$7.7K off from MSRP, that's a great deal. I've been looking for one myself and the dealers here in CA will not go any lower than $1k less off the MSRP?

Don't know why but it seems NJ is getting the best deals.
vng999, which dealer are you looking at that is offer a $1k discount? MB of Pleasanton wouldn't budge pass $500 for me, but this was a few months ago.

Or Elizabeth at Beschoff in SJ. They were good for me a year ago.
I'd suggest emailing all the Bay Area dealers - the internet reps - and tell them what you are looking for and that you will go with the best priced response - no back and forth. Lot of dealers to chose from around here!

Will they be able to deliver to CA instead of NJ if go through them?

Joshwars, I also live in cnj and my husband and I are looking to get a GL450. I have called a few dealerships in NY/ NJ area but can't seem to get as good a deal.The best we got is $2000 Costco discount. I'm not sure if things have changed since last October! We are also looking to lease. Do you mind sharing info. on the dealership you used. Thank you.

About a month ago. But the deal I ended up getting from Ohio was almost double that under MSRP plus my fleet.
You really have to look for a car that has been sitting on the lot for awhile, and I've noticed, in NJ, GL don't sit very long.
